Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
In the practice of judicial exams and civil lawsuits, the ability to investigate cases and correctly grasp factual relations, issues, conclusions, reasons, and range of judgment is essential. Therefore, in this lesson, through the analysis of important cases, we aim to acquire how to read judicial precedents and deepen legal thinking ability. Furthermore, through submission of report tasks, we aim to acquire the basic demonstration ability as a lawyer.
【Learning Objectives】
The goal of this course is for students to have an understanding of the Code of Civil Procedure at the level of passing the bar exam.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Before each class meeting, students will be expected to have read the relevant chapter(s) from the text. Your required study time is at least two hours for each class meeting.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Grading will be based 100% on the results of the final exam.
