Outline (in English)

【Course outline】 The purpose of a company is to provide goods and services to society, obtain appropriate money, and develop continuously. However, various events occur and hinder the achievement of corporate objectives. In some cases, the event causes the company to go bankrupt. The event is natural disaster, fire, product accident, geopolitical risk, etc. Risk management prevents incidents and accidents that are various events. Risk management also minimizes the impact of events that have occurred. In this lesson, students learn about thinking about risk management as a top manager to continuously develop the company.
【Learning Objectives】 Understand the international standard ISO31000 (revised in 2018) as a concept of risk management as corporate management. Understand crisis management methods from the company's response when an actual crisis occurs.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】 Collect information on the "business risks" described in each company's securities report. Have them make a presentation in class.
The standard time for preparation and review of this class is 2 hours each.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】 Contents of the term-end report (60%),Attendance and submission of small assignments (20%),Contribution to class such as active presentation(20%).
