[Course outline]
Educational psychology is a discipline that empirically explores the scientific basis of education using psychological methods, and also considers the application of these findings to educational and life situations. It includes the areas of development, teaching-and-learning, cognition, society, personality, clinical practice, special needs, school psychology, and measurement-evaluation-research methods.
In this class, you will learn about the overall picture and trends of educational psychology research and its relationship to practical activities, and think about the application of clinical psychological research and/or practice.

[Learning Objectives]
You will gain an overview of the entire field of educational psychology, including development, teaching-and-learning, cognition, society, personality, clinical psychology, special support, school psychology, measurement-evaluation-research methods, and learn and understand the theories and methods of educational psychology research.
After that, you will learn about the development of practical activities and support for clinical psychology, school psychology, and special needs education in the field of education in particular, so that you can connect research and practical activities.

It is necessary to read the designated literature carefully in advance.
The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.

[Grading Criteria /Policies]
Evaluation will be based on a combination of report results (40%) and in-class contribution (60%).
