Outline (in English)
Under the theme of the characteristics and utilization of various information media, this course will explain how to acquire knowledge and skills to handle information, including the means to collect information as well as the issue of copyright, which are required for us to live in the information society of the 21st century. It will also explain how to acquire the skills necessary for dealing with the traditional media, such as books and magazines, within an information and communication environment that continues to develop day by day, on the Internet and various electronic media.
The objective of this course is to provide students with a broad range of knowledge and skills related to the “handling of information” required in the advanced information and communication society, including the Internet, various electronic information and communication devices, and analog contents such as conventional paper media.
I will give instructions in class. The standard preparatory study and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
Performance in class 30% + assignments 70%.
For assignments, students gain points as they clear each of a set of specified goals.

多様な情報メディアの特性と活用をテーマに、インターネットや各種電子メディアなど日々進展を続ける情報通信環境のもとで、従来の伝統的メディアである図書や雑誌等を取扱う技術だけではなく、21世紀という情報化社会を生きる我々に求められる情報収集手段および著作権を含む情報を扱う知識とスキルの修得について解説する。
到達目標Goal
インターネットや各種電子情報通信機器、また従来の紙媒体といったアナログコンテンツを含め、高度情報通信社会において必要となる「情報の取り扱い」に関する広範囲な知識と能力の取得を目的とする。

様な情報メディアの特性と活用をテーマに、インターネットや各種電子メディアなど日々進展を続ける情報通信環境のもとで、従来の伝統的メディアである図書や雑誌等を取扱う技術だけではなく、21世紀という情報化社会を生きる我々に求められる情報収集手段および著作権を含む情報を扱う知識とスキルの修得について解説する。「情報リテラシー実習B」では主にMicrosoft Excelを用いた表作成、PowerPointで作成したスライドを用いた効果的なプレゼン方法の実際について学ぶため、文書作成で使用するWordを主にあつかう「情報リテラシー実習A」とあわせて受講することが望ましい。
※課題等の提出・フィードバックは「学習支援システム」を通じて行います。
Under the theme of the characteristics and utilization of various information media, this course will explain how to acquire knowledge and skills to handle information, including the means to collect information as well as the issue of copyright, which are required for us to live in the information society of the 21st century. It will also explain how to acquire the skills necessary for dealing with the traditional media, such as books and magazines, within an information and communication environment that continues to develop day by day, on the Internet and various electronic media. In "Information Literacy Practice B," students will learn how to create tables using Microsoft Excel and how to make effective presentations using PowerPoint slides, so it is recommended that students take this course in conjunction with "Information Literacy Practice A," which focuses on Word for document creation. Submission of assignments and feedback will be done through the Learning Support System.

課題については、課題毎にいくつかのポイントを設定し、そのポイントをクリアすることによって点数を加算します。
