Outline (in English)

(Course Outline) The sports media covers a wide range of genres, including existing newspapers and broadcasts, as well as the Internet and tablets that have been flourishing in recent years. The purpose of this class is to familiarize students with the philosophy and behavior of each of these media that are scattered throughout society. To achieve this goal, it is essential to trace the history of the media from its inception to the present, understand its current status, and hone one's ability to read and understand the media world, which is undergoing remarkable change. Some competitive sports are called "media sports. Why on earth are sports themselves media? This session will be an opportunity to reflect on the recent sports environment and to consider the near future of sports media.
(Learning Objectives) Digital devices dominate the rest of the demand for sports media among teens and twenty-somethings. What is packed into them? By unraveling it, we must grasp the implementation of sports media, the intermediary between sports and consumers of sports information. This is the ultimate goal of this lecture.
The origins and inevitability of the items that have evolved from print, to radio, to photography, to mobile. The changes were prompted by the society that demanded them. If this is the case, then we must look at how society itself has changed. What I would like to recognize in the course of the lecture is how the media is trying to overcome the corner it is now approaching by using "text," "images," "music," and "comments" as weapons. Through a variety of routes, including streaming, OTT, SNS, and missed broadcasts, we will grasp where sports is heading itself.
(Learning Activities Outside of Classroom) Keep an eye on newspaper, television, and online reports on a daily basis and remain interested in the "judgments" and "information" about sports presented by the media. The key is not to believe everything you read in individual reports. It is necessary to compare one's own experiences and the opinions of others in a calm manner, and to always read and comprehend them in light of one's own worldview. To do this, we must ask ourselves when, where, what, and how it happened. How was it covered, and write it down in your own notes. Each of you should take two hours of preparatory study and review time before and after the lecture.
(Grading Criteria/Policy)The sum of the evaluations of the "tasks assigned to each lecture" and the "in-class exam set at the end of the lecture" is an element for credit approval.
[1-13 in the lecture]
"Assignment for each lecture" is written and submitted on the spot using the time specified within the lecture time.
When nominated, points will be added depending on the content of the answer by raising your hand.
Scoring:  39 points (3 points/0.1 point increments x 13) if you continue to get full marks in the 13 lectures on the assignments in the lecture, excluding the final day.
[14 in the lecture]
Be sure to work on the final essay exam (term/phrase question 20 points, short essay 25 x 2 = 50 points) held in the final lecture.
[Comprehensive evaluation] If everything is perfect, you can get 109 points.
For unavoidable ceremonial occasions such as participation in events on behalf of the school during regular lectures, sick leave, and absences, after the final exam, additional report assignments (maximum 3 points) instead of assignments in lectures Learning support system [Submit the prescribed documents, the documents designated by the Athletic Association, the funeral certificate, a copy of the receipt with the date of the medical institution, etc.]. However, this condition is applied up to 3 times per person. Voluntary absences will not be reimbursed. In this case, the report will be larger in volume than a normal lecture assignment.
An important factor in recognizing credits, the final exam is set on the last day of the lecture, not during the exam period, so be sure not to miss it.
