Outline (in English)

This course deals with the migration and settlement, network and association, custom and lifestyle of overseas Chinese in the world, especially focusing on overseas Chinese in Japan. At the end of the course, participants are expected to obtain basic knowledge about overseas Chinese, and also to be able to evaluate ethnic diversities in Japan.
Your required study time is two hours for each class meeting.
