Outline (in English)

This course is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of several aspects of Latin America and the Caribbean: histories, societies and cultures.
<Learning Objectives>
By the end of this course, students are expected to gain a basic understanding of Latin American history, culture and society.
You will be able to deepen your interest in problems and translate them into presentations and reports.
<Learning activities>
Your study time will be more than two hours for a class.
<Grading Criteria/Policy>
Short reports : 50%、in class contribution: 50%.
