Outline (in English)
This course is suitable for students with basic knowledge of the German language who wish to improve their ability to communicate in German: Target groups are previous participants of the SA-Program of Faculty of Intercultural Communication as well as the Hosei University Study Abroad Program or students with experiences in any German speaking societies. In the course, we combine German as a foreign language with cultural, historical and sociological issues, thus opening up interesting new perspectives.
【Learning Objectives】
・To develop an understanding of a wide range of topics relating to life, culture and society in German-speaking countries and to express and explain these in German.
・Able to express their own opinions and take part in discussions on abstract topics in German.
・Able to write texts of a certain length in German.
【Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.)】
・The standard preparation and revision time for this course is at least one hour each.
・There are prescribed preparation and review tasks.
・Assignments outside of class time will be given on a case-by-case basis.
・In addition to the above, please read the newspaper (daily) or listen to the news as much as possible. It is advisable to make effective use of the internet and social networking sites for German-speaking media.
【Grading criteria】
The course will be judged on the basis of a combination of 60% of ordinary marks (active participation and contribution to the class, presentations, submitted assignments) and 40% of end-of-term assignments (tests).
On the basis of this grading system, students who have achieved at least 60% of the objectives of this course will be considered to have passed the course.

SAドイツ語圏の留学準備とともに、SAによって獲得したドイツ語運用能力を維持し、さらに向上させるためのトレーニングを行います。ドイツ語の読む、書く、聴く、話す楽しみを存分に味わいましょう。
到達目標Goal
・ドイツ語圏の生活、文化、社会など多様なテーマに関する理解を深め、ドイツ語で表現・説明することができる。
・抽象的なテーマについて、ドイツ語で自分の意見を述べ、議論に加わることができる。
・まとまった分量の作文をドイツ語で書くことができる。

日本語を主に使用し、適宜ドイツ語を併用する。

・各回のテーマはドイツ語圏それぞれに共通する話題、異なる話題のバリエーションです。各参加者のドイツ語学習経験、ドイツ語圏滞在体験に配慮しつつ、お互いの発言とテクストの理解が十分に深まることを目指しながら、学んでいきます。
・各回、指定されたドイツ語テクストを前もって読んでおきます。
・テクストの内容と重要概念（語彙）を確認します。
・授業ではプレゼンテーションやペアワーク、グループワークなどを取り入れつつ、練習を積み重ねながら「言いたいこと」がよりスムーズにドイツ語で言えるようにブラッシュアップしていきます。

・法政大学の2023年度授業方針に従い、感染症流行の状況が「レベル１」の場合は対面授業で、「レベル２」以上の場合はリアルタイム型オンライン授業（Zoom）で行います。
・LMSとして、HoppiiとGoogle Classroomを使用します。
・連絡手段として、学期を通じ法政Gメールをチェックしてください。
・授業内で行われたアウトプットに対しては授業の場でコメントします。提出物等のフィードバックは適宜、各自、あるいは全体に向けて行います。

・本授業の準備学習・復習時間は各1時間以上を標準とします。
・所定の予習・復習課題があります。
・授業時間外の課題については、その都度指示します。
・上記以外にも、できるだけ新聞（日刊紙）を読む、あるいはニュースを聞くなどにチャレンジしてみましょう。
・国際政治を自分の身近な問題として引き受けるために、ドイツ語圏のメディアにはインターネットやSNS等を効果的に活用してください。

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
平常点（授業への積極的な参加と貢献、プレゼンテーション、提出課題）60％、学期末課題（テスト）40％を合わせ、総合的に判断します。
この成績評価の方法をもとに、本授業の到達目標の60%以上を達成した者を合格とします。

・独和辞典は必携です。
・法政大学の行動方針レベル（感染症の流行による）が「レベル２」以上の場合、リアルタイム型オンライン授業（Zoom）となります。お手元にWiFiが利用可能なデジタルガジェット（スマートフォン、タブレット、PCのどれか）、また大学構内で受講する場合はイヤホン（マイク付きヘッドセット）も用意してください。
その他の重要事項Others
・この授業はドイツ語圏滞在経験者や、ドイツ語圏の留学・SA参加予定学生、滞在予定者、派遣留学を目指す学生を対象とします。目安としては４セメスター以上のドイツ語学習経験があることです。
・授業内容（テーマ）と順序等はクラスの状況によって変更されることがあります。
・受講者には「ドイツ語技能検定試験（公益財団法人ドイツ語学文学振興会主催）」や「ドイツ政府公認ドイツ語能力検定試験（Goethe Zertifikat）」、「オーストリア政府公認ドイツ語能力検定試験（ÖSD）」の受験を推奨します。以上の受験結果については、2023年7月20日までに担当者に通知されたもののみ、上記「成績評価の方法と基準」の「平常点」に加算します。
・質問・相談などは担当者宛にメールで、あるいは授業の前後にも受け付けます。
