Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
*This course is designed to provide the student with an opportunity to understand the basic theory of microeconomics and macroeconomics. Generally, economic theory broadly divided into two parts - microeconomics and macroeconomics. Microeconomics focuses on decision making at the individual level, while macroeconomics studies the economy as a whole.
*This course is a comprehensive guide on how to get started with microeconomics and macroeconomics.
【Learning Objectives】
*Through this course, the students will be able to:
- explain the basic theories of microeconomics and macroeconomics;
- think and express basic issues of economics from the aspect of social science.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
*Students will have normally 2 hours of preparation and review for each class.
*Students are expected to prepare for a class and to review what was learned in each class by the textbook or the lecture note as necessary.
【Grading Criteria/Policy】
*Final examination(90%)+Active Participation(10%)=Evaluation Score(100%).
*Students must meet the minimum attendance requirements to get course credits.
*Absence due to unavoidable circumstances is regarded as equivalent to attendance in general.
