Outline (in English)

Course outline and objectives:
The purpose of this lecture is to explain the achievements and meaning of agglomeration theories in economics, focusing on the geographical economic activities related to productivity and creativity, and to develop concrete and practical thinking skills regarding the rise and fall mechanisms of industrial and urban agglomerations.

Learning activities outside of classroom:
Before/after each class, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.

Grading Criteria /Policy:
Final grade will be calculated according to the following process Mid-term report and term-end report(60%), and each-class requirements(40%).
