【Outline (in English)】
The theme of Corporate Governance Theory A is to learn voting rights, the general shareholders' meeting, the roles of the Japan Stewardship Code, and the market for control. The goals of this course are to understand how corporate governance systems mitigate the conflicts between shareholders and management. Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to collect the relevant materials. Your required study time is about half hour for each class meeting. The mid-term report (30%) and term end report (40%) are both required for grading, in addition to in class contribution (30%).
