Outline (in English)

Course outline:
This lecture will provide an overview of the industrial location theory from the perspective of economic geography. The objective is to understand the economic logic of location, with examples of locational differences in industries and location patterns in the modern economy.

Learning Objectives:
By learning the theory and practice of industrial location, students will understand the formation of diverse geographic landscapes in the modern economy through the mechanisms of economics.

Learning activities outside of classroom:
Before/after each class, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.

Grading Criteria /Policy:
Final grade will be calculated according to the following process Mid-term report and term-end report(60%), and each-class requirements(40%).
