Outline (in English)

Course outline:
Students learn the roles of public policies on the basis of "Public Finance A," microeconomics, and macroeconomics. In particular, students understand the economic impact of taxation, government bonds, and an increase of government expenditure.

Learning objective:
The goals of this course are to understand various polices implemented by the central government such as taxes in our life and macroeconomic policies. Students should be able to consider effects of these policies.

Leaning activities outside of classroom:
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand course contents and basic concepts of economics.

Grading criteria/policies:
Final grade will be calculated by term-end exam 50% + five homeworks 50% = 100%.
