Outline (in English)

【Outline】 In this lecture, we will explain the basic concepts and theories of "advertising" and the latest trends in digital advertising. In addition, we will have various working people who are actually engaged in the advertising industry come and give lectures. Through the above, the course aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the theory and practice of advertising.

【Goal】
1. understand and explain what advertising is and how it is useful in management.
2. understand and explain basic concepts in academic advertising theory.
3. understand and explain advertising strategies and procedures for planning and implementing advertising
4. understand and explain the types of companies involved in the advertising business and the types of people who work there.

【Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.)】
As a preparatory study, students will be asked to collect specific advertising case studies. Students are expected to analyze real-life advertising activities based on the knowledge and theories they have acquired. Students are expected to spend 1-2 hours per class for preparation and review.

【Grading criteria】
No final exam will be given.
1. reaction paper through group work in each class (60%)
2.final report assignment (40%)

No private conversation is allowed during class, so students who cannot listen quietly should not take this course.
Group work will be incorporated into the class. No credit will be given to students who cannot participate in group work.
