Outline (in English)

This course focuses mainly on the geomorphological perspective of natural environment around drainage basin and coastal zone in Japan.
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
-A)Understand the formation of natural environment and relationship with the living people in various regions.
-B)Consider the relationship between yourselves, the people around them, and the familiar natural environment.
Before/after each class meeting students will be expected to
spend two hours to understand the course content.
Grading will be decided based on the mid-report (30%), final report (50%) and short comments (20%).
