Outline (in English)

(Course Outline and Learning Objectives)
Social history is not a simple branch of history but a critical history in its own right. By grasping the society as a whole on the level of everyday experience, it illuminates every aspect of social life considered meaningful to each historian. In this course, participants are expected to make a presentation on a topic provided in advance, and engage in discussion.

(Learning activities outside of the classroom)
Your study time will be more than four hours for a class.

(Grading Criteria)
Grading will be decided based on the students' presentation (40%),
participation to the discussion (20%), and the final report (40%).
