Outline (in English)

The aim of this class is to learn the technologies and social systems that Japan has introduced from mainland China and Korean Peninsula.
By this course, students will be able to explain the genealogy, development, and significance of primitive and ancient technologies in the Japanese Islands.
The standard preparation and review time by students is 2 hours each.
Grades for this class will be based on participation and contribution (30%) and reports (70%).
