Outline (in English)

In this class, you will learn how to apply the consideration of staging to the study of Noh works and how to decipher staging materials.
Learning Objectives are:
1)to be able to correctly interpret the content of the noh text,
2)to be able to use old materials on staging as material for researching the work.
3) to understand what "staging" means to Noh as a traditional performing art.

Each student is responsible for collating old chant manuscripts as preparatory work.
