Outline (in English)

Through reading papers on phonological and phonetic acquisition, students will learn theories and research methods that will form the basis of their own papers.

Learning Objectives:
-To acquire knowledge of research methods in the field of second language acquisition and teaching, while reading basic literature in the field of phonology and SLA phonology and vocabulary.
-Students will be able to formulate their own research plan, conduct research, and produce a thesis.

Learning activities outside of classroom:Students are required to read assigned papers and prepare for their presentations. Students are expected to study at least 4 hours outside of classroom.

Grading Criteria:
In-Class presentations....40%
In-Class participation....40%
Term paper....20%
