Outline (in English)

This course will be an interactive lecture. In this course, you are going to have a presentation about what we learn in the class related to Japanese Language and a question and answer session.

Learning objectives of this class:
Students learn investigation, analysis, and consideration regarding Japanese language studies, and students prepare documents to have presentations.
Focus on theorizing your thoughts about Japanese language studies from different perspective and era.
Acquire the necessary skill and knowledge for writing master’s thesis.

Learning activities outside of classroom:
Students need to research about their study theme and subject via website such as CiNii and make sure if there is still room for research.
Use the library for study and students can come to the laboratory for consultation before or after the class if needed.
As preparation and review of the class, students will be expected to spend about 2 hours.

Grading Criteria/Policies:
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following:
Presentation (50%), Report (50%).
