Outline (in English)

（Course outline）
The purpose of this course is to enable doctoral students to independently conduct research, prepare and submit a paper, and practice the series of processes until the paper is accepted.
（Learning Objectives）
(1) To be able to prepare and submit a paper.
(2) To be able to respond to peer review and have the paper accepted.
（Learning activities outside of classroom）
In each class, students will work on (1) assignments presented during the class, and (2) preparation of presentation materials.
The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
（Grading Criteria /Policy）
(1) 60% of the grade will be based on the content of the reports and presentations you make, and (2) 40% of the grade will be based on your participation in opinion exchange and group work. If you are absent or late, your evaluation will be lowered.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives

博士後期課程の大学院生が、主体的に研究を行い、論文を作成して投稿し、その論文が受理されるまでの一連の過程を実践できるようになることを目的とします。

到達目標Goal

(1) 論文を作成して、投稿することができる。
(2) 査読に対して回答し、論文を受理してもらうことができる。

毎回の授業では、各受講生の研究に関する発表と、それに対する意見交換を行います。受講生が将来、自立した研究者として活動することができるよう、主体的な活動を求めます。
課題に対するフィードバックは、(1) 次の回の授業の序盤に受講生全体に対して、(2) メーリングリストなどを利用して受講生全体に対して、(3) 個人的に、のいずれかの方法で行います。
