Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
The purpose of this course is to master basic principles, procedures, and research methods pertaining to applying behavior analysis in schools or in other educational or therapeutic settings. Focus will be placed on knowledge and skills in applying basic concepts of learning to interpret behavioral phenomena in real-world educational or societal settings.

【Learning Objectives】
At the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
1) identify behavioral objectives, 2) design and conduct experiments, 3) analyze data, and 4) present research outcomes.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Students are expected to complete weekly assignments on research projects (average of 4 hours).

【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Final grade in this class will be decided based on task completion (100%).
