Outline (in English)
A member of a class plans for upbringing of the basic ability to gather a research result as a thesis by an analysis of field survey method and survey result and the thing from which an announcement by a member of a class and discussion are advanced to the center about an analysis method and how to gather focusing on the theme related to a research task of a member of a class.
Students will focus on presentations and discussions on field survey methods, analysis / analysis methods of survey results, and summarization methods, focusing on themes related to research themes, and develop basic abilities to summarize research results as a dissertation. Plan.
At the same time, acquire the ability to perform spatio-temporal analysis using GIS and present it as various thematic maps.
Students in the first year will present their graduation thesis, and while discussing with all the students, give guidelines on the development of the master's thesis. Students from the second year onward will announce the survey results related to the master's thesis, and all the students will mainly discuss data analysis.
In each lesson, write a summary of the lesson, questions, etc. in the attendance book and submit it, and comment on the contents in the next lesson.
In addition, we will ask you to submit a small report and a final report, evaluate each, and explain the ideal report based on the model answer.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
水文学の根幹を成す水循環を定量的に評価する手法について理解し、水資源の持続可能な利用への応用を学ぶ。
環境および資源として人間生活と密接な関わりを持つ陸水について、存在量と循環速度を評価することができるようにする。 異なる時空間尺度における水温・水質の分布特性について、水循環の過程におけるあり方を理解することができるようにする。
水文学・陸水学分野において修士論文を書く学生に対しては、テーマ設定から研究・調査方法・分析手法・解析手法・論文執筆について基本的な能力を養成する。他の分野を主とする学生に対しても、水文学分野の事例をもとに、基本的な研究能力の育成を図る。
到達目標Goal
受講生は、研究課題に結びつくテーマを中心に、現地調査方法、調査結果の分析・解析方法、まとめ方などについて、発表、討議を中心に進め、研究結果を論文としてまとめる基礎的能力の育成を図る。
同時に、GISを用いて時空間解析を行い、様々な主題図として提示する能力も身につける。

初年時の学生は、卒論について発表し、受講生全員で議論しながら、修論への展開について指針を示す。２年次以降の学生は修論に関わる調査結果を発表し、主にデータ解析について受講生全員で議論する。
毎回の授業では、出席簿に授業の要約や質問等を記述して提出させ、次回授業でその内容についてコメントする。
また、小レポートと最終レポートを提出させ、それぞれ評価した上で、模範解答を基に、理想的なレポートについて解説する。

本授業の準備学習・復習時間は、各2時間を標準とする。
各回のテーマと内容に則し、ほぼ毎回、受講生の研究テーマに沿った発表を求めるので、事前に準備して望むこと。

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
授業内での発表、討議を踏まえて、提出論文をもとに、総合的に評価する。
発表30％，討議参加20％，レポート50％。
