(Course outline)
This course mainly reports on the modern history of Japan, criticizes academic books and dissertations, and discusses them. Through these processes, you will acquire the abilities necessary to complete your doctoral dissertation.
(Learning Objectives)
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
-A.Understanding the latest research trends related to modern Japanese history.
-B.Create an original research theme.
-C.Complete a high-level dissertation.
(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
