Outline (in English)

The aim of this course is to acquire the ability to write doctoral dissertations by students doing research presentations in Japanese archeology.
Students will be able to examine the image of prehistoric societies based on the analysis of material sources and present a constructive perspective.
Students will develop the ability to construct a multi-faceted thesis based on a specific theme related to prehistoric societies.
The standard preparation and review time by students is 2 hours each.
The final grade will be calculated based on the following factors: results of the research presentation and participation in the discussion (70%), and the final report (30%).
