Outline (in English)
Course outline: This course deals with the Problems of the self
approached by modern philosophers of language.
Learning Objectives: To acquire a deeper understanding of self and to
learn more about methods of analytical philosophy.
Learning activities outside of classroom: After each class meeting,
students are expected to spend four hours to understand the content of the day and to prepare the next class meeting.
Grading Criteria: preparing resumes: 60%, contribution to the class discussion: 40%

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
「自己」はデカルト以来、最も困難な哲学的問題の一つである。この授業では、①なぜ「自己」が哲学の問題になるのか、②現代哲学はどのような方法によって「自己」を論じるのか、③「自己」の正体に関して、どのような議論に基づき、どのような主張がなされているか、を代表的論者の論文を読解しながら検討する。
到達目標Goal
「自己」に関する現代哲学の主要な立場、その論拠と問題点の正しい理解を獲得し、「自己」の正体に関する各自の立場を確立するための基礎を形成する。

本授業の準備学習・復習時間は、各2時間を標準とする。発表担当者は、担当箇所のレジュメを作成し、事前に配布する。全員がテキストをあらかじめ精読したうえでレジュメを確認し、疑問点、反論等を整理しておく。
