Outline (in English)

◆Course outline
 In this lecture, students will examine the history of society and economy from the perspective of "food" and "agriculture," with the aim of gaining a perspective on contemporary society and its future.
◆Learning Objectives
 Students are expected to think about food and agriculture issues from a multifaceted and multifaceted perspective, based on fieldwork-based research in regional economics, as well as knowledge and results from geography, history, anthropology, sociology, and ethnography.
◆Learning activities outside of classroom
 Be sure to prepare and review the materials introduced in each lecture.
Please pay attention to newspaper articles, magazines, novels, movies, news, etc. related to the lecture content and deepen your consideration. The standard preparation and review time for this class is 30 minutes each.
◆Grading Criteria /Policy
 Evaluation will be based on reaction papers (50%) and final report (50%).
