Environmental sociology seeks to clarify the structure of environmental problems, to find ways to solve them, and to understand the future of the relationship between humans and nature. The purpose of this course is to learn the basic theories of environmental sociology, which are broadly classified as "sociology of environmental issues" and "sociology of environmental coexistence" and to acquire the basics of methods (theories) for understanding the environmental problems that surround our daily lives. As preparation for this lecture, students are required to read through news and newspaper articles on environmental issues. In addition, it is important to review the lecture contents and lecture materials introduced in each lecture. Students are expected to obtain and review reference materials by themselves.
