Outline (in English)

With the advent of the SDGs and the Paris Agreement, there is a need to transition from an economy dependent on fossil fuels to a decarbonized economy.
Corporations have been positioned as important partners in achieving the SDGs, and the role they should play is expanding more than ever.
In this class, I will explain how corporate management in the 21st century should be based on changes in the external environment, such as the end of the era of mass production and mass consumption, the worsening of climate change, and the transition to a sustainable society.
This class aims to equip students with the knowledge to accurately evaluate the social significance of corporate activities and corporate value, which are being questioned in today's society.
The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
Grading will be based on mid-term report (40%) and final report (60%).
