Outline (in English)

【Course outline】 What kind of action is subject to punishment as a crime? What is the basic principle of criminal law to consider crime and punishment? We will learn it through concrete examples. And we will think the meaning and role of criminal law in society.
Learning criminal law may be a hint to overcome various divisions and build a society where everyone can live happily while coexisting with others.
【Learning Objectives】 Acquiring basic knowledge of criminal law is the goal of this class. [Confirmation question] and [Examination question] are described in the resume. At the end of this course, students are expected to understand answer and its reason for each question and to be able to explain them correctly in sentences.


【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.


【Grading Criteria /Policy】 Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
