Outline (in English)

This course deals with contemporary families in Japan, especially, in terms of such keywords as "diversity." We think of how the families work for individuals and the society.Learning objectives of this course are to understand variation of contemporary family issues and to get ideas about career design of students themselves. Learning activities outside of classroom are homework and preparation (about 2 hours per class). Grading criteria are composed of class participation 40%, reports 10% and final exam 50%.
