Outline (in English)
Understand "economic activities of one country" based on the theory of macroeconomics. First of all, we learn about indices (GDP, price, unemployment rate) to measure the economic activity of a country. Next, we learn about the mechanisms that are determined through consumption and investment activities, goods and services markets, labor markets, financial markets, trade, government intervention, Finally, we think about the recent world economy.
The goals of this course are tounderstand the economic activities of a country based on macroeconomic theory.
Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting. Your study time will be more than four hours for a class.
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
Term-end examination: 100%

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
「一国の経済活動」について、マクロ経済学の理論に基づいて理解する。まず最初に、一国の経済活動を測るための指標（GDP、物価、失業率）について学ぶ。次に、それらが、消費・投資活動、財・サービス市場、労働市場、金融（資金）市場、貿易、政府の介入、などを通じて決定される仕組みについて学ぶ。最後に、最近の世界経済、日本経済が直面している課題について考える。
到達目標Goal
①一国の経済活動について、マクロ経済学の理論に基づいて理解できること。②①で学んだ理論を通して、日本経済の現状についての解説ができること。③①②の作業を通して、社会科学の思考法（仮説の立案→データ・実例による仮説検証→仮説の再考）を身に付けること。
