Outline (in English)

This course will help you to understand yokai in Japan as cultural concepts and cultural products. The word yokai means creatures, presences, or phenomena that could be described as mysterious or eerie and are seen in every society.After taking this course, you will be able to explain how yokai culture has been built in Japan.Before each class meeting, students will be expected to spend one hour to understand the course content.
