Outline (in English)

Living organisms are formed of aggregates of biopolymers formed by selectively using Earth's elements. In this lecture, we will deepen our understanding of molecules and systems that constitute and maintain life and learn about its mechanism.
The goal is for students to understand the basic concepts and terms of biology and explain them in their own words. It is also important to be interested in and scientifically consider social and technical issues related to biology.
Grades will be evaluated based on two tests, one at the middle and the end of the term, and normal points. If the test is conducted online, the method and criteria for grade evaluation will also be changed. Specific methods and criteria will be presented in the lecture.
Grade evaluation factors: Normal score (25%), mid-term test (25%), final test (50%)
