Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
The aim of this course is to help students acquire an understanding of the structure and function of a cell, the basic unit of life, and biological molecules composing a cell, through basic biological experiments.

(Learning Objectives)
You can learn skills to use experimental devices and experimental methods and data processing methods. In addition, this course helps you to acquire a skill to write logical sentences through writing reports.

(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Before each class, you refer the textbook to be distributed in guidance and grasp and image of experiment. Before/after each class, you will be expected to spend at least one hour to understand the course content and prepare the report.

(Grading Criteria /Policies)
Grading will be decided based on reports (50%) and in-class active contribution (50%). We will give you the details in guidance.
