Outline (in English)

Currently, knowledge of marketing research can be said to be essential in practice and research.
In this lesson, to make it easier for graduate students to learn about marketing and research for the first time, they learn fundamentals and methods of marketing research systematically and practically to actually set up hypotheses based on qualitative surveys such as interviews, and test the hypothesis based on quantitative surveys such as questionnaire preparation and various data, after understanding the methodology of the qualitative survey and quantitative survey.
 
The learning objectives can be summarized in the following three points.
①To be able to acquire skills in qualitative research such as interviews, and to be able to actually analyze and discuss the results.
②To acquire skills in quantitative research, including questionnaire creation and various data analysis, and to be able to analyze and discuss the results.
③To be able to test hypotheses using multiple quantitative surveys.
 
Students will be required to collect data and write a final report as part of their learning outside of class time.
 
Grading will be as follows。
・Mid-term report and report (10 points x 2 times = 20 points), comments and participation in discussions in lectures and exercises (50 points), and final report and report (30 points).
・All students who report the final report early will receive points (early report system).
・Attendance of at least two-thirds of the lectures is the minimum requirement for evaluation. Two tardies will count as one absence.
