Outline (in English)
Natural Language Processing (NLP) is concerned with automatically processing human language. Students will learn about basic NLP problems, tasks and methods, especially statistical approaches. The goal of this course is for students to develop their programming skills, analytical skills, and presenting skills.
Before/after each lecture, students will be expected to spend one hour to understand the course content and write program for exercises.
Grading will be decided based on the presentation(50%), final report(30%) and in class contribution (20%).

膨大なテキストデータから、いかにして有用な知識を獲得するかについて検討する。
到達目標Goal
自然言語処理（NLP)の要素技術を学び、実際のデータを解析し、データ間の潜在的な関連性を顕在化するための方法論と手法を身に付ける。

身の回りの情報をさまざまな視点で分節化し、新しい知識として活用する方法について研究を進める。
各自の進捗に応じた質疑の時間を授業内に設け、各ステップ毎に必要な知識の理解を促しながら研究を進め、適宜フィードバックする。
