Outline (in English)

Natural Language Processing (NLP) is concerned with automatically processing human language. Students will learn about basic NLP problems, tasks and methods, especially statistical approaches. The goal of this course is for students to develop their programming skills, analytical skills, and presenting skills.
Before/after each lecture, students will be expected to spend one hour to understand the course content and write program for exercises.
Grading will be decided based on the presentation(50%), final report(30%) and in class contribution (20%).
