Outline (in English)

The purpose of this course is to learn basic concepts on linear space such as vector space and its subspace and to experience practical applications of eigenvalues and eigenvectors.
The goal of this course is to acquire the basic knowledge of linear algebra necessary for studying the natural sciences, to understand the meaning of eigenvalues and eigenvectors, and to calculate techniques, that can be used in practical applications.
Based on the basics and applications of linear algebra such as "Application of Linear Algebra 1", students learn main advanced mathematical skills for preparation of specialized subjects and deepen the understanding of developing future expertise. Useful assignments for preparation and review are given every time. Students will be expected to work more than four hours for a class. Distributing and submitting materials will be done through the "learning support system". In addition, we will provide appropriate explanations and feedback from the assignments, examinations, and questions according to the degree of understanding and importance.
Grading will be decided based on the Term-end examination (50%), and the grades for assignments of preparation and review, reports, quizzes, and in-class contribution (50%).
