Outline (in English)

■Course Outline
This course deals with the information society, information ethics and security. In particular, the course aims to improve students' ability to understand and explain the Internet and issues of life, education and business.

■Learning objectives
By the end of the course, students are expected to be able to
- understand and explain the importance of ethics in living in the information society
- understand and comment on internet crime, privacy issues, rules and laws
- understand the history of the Internet and how it works, and be able to think of solutions to problems

■Learning activities outside the classroom
Lectures (2 credits)
It is recommended that students read the relevant chapter of the textbook before each class. At least one hour of study is required in each class.

■Grading criteria and policy
The final grade will be calculated by the following process Small report in each class (70%), Final report (30%), Attendance and contribution to the class.
