Outline (in English)

"Scientific writing" is essential for learning computer science and its application fields. Also, as a way of expressing various scientific and technical contents, we should write various logical sentences such as reports and manuals, graduation theses and so on. In this lecture, as a basic practice, students will perform experiments and learn the basics of science writing techniques through practical work of reporting their contents and analysis of experimental data.

The goal is to be able to write sentences in appropriate Japanese. To be able to compose a document logically, taking into account the nature of the document. To be able to create figures and tables accurately and explain them in writing.

Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.

The overall grade in the class will be decided based on the three final reports.
