Outline (in English)

Abstract algebra is widely recognized as an essential element of computer science. This class deals with group, ring, and field theories. At the end of this class, students are expected to understand the basic concept of abstract algebra and to be able to apply the knowledge to its application field.
Students are encouraged to work on the exercises presented in a class. Expected your study time will be more than four hours for a class.
Your overall grade in this class will be decided based on the following:
Term-end examination 90%, attendance 10%.
