Outline (in English)

<Course outline>
This course introduce the optimization method of electric machine using two dimensional finite element method, and deep learning.

<Learning Objectives>
The goal of this course is to acquire knowledge of the basics of the two-dimensional finite element method for magnetostatic fields, optimization techniques for electrical devices using the finite element method, and deep learning.

<Learning activities outside of classroom>
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours understanding the course content.

<Grading Criteria /Policy>
The final grade will be calculated according to the following process Reports, and in-class contribution.
