Outline (in English)
This course will provide opportunities to learn a way of literature search focusing on plant disease,diagnosis,infection cycle,preventing mesures in domestic and oversea.And,students study how are damages by diseases and what are avoidance technologies available.Eventually, students understand the planning capability about the technological systematization as well as agricultural and food problems of the world.The standard study time for this class is 4 hours,including preparation and review.Read the academic journals in which the students are scheduled to present in advance. After the presentation, review the content of the presentation and the academic journals. Students will be judged comprehensively based on their presentation skills, ability to decipher documents, and ability to answer questions (70%), and normal score (30%).

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
被害の大きな植物病を中心に国内外の総論や研究論文など文献調査を行い、診断手法、伝染様式、被害程度、防除法などを取りまとめる。そして、それら被害とその回避技術を学び、技術の体系化に関する企画力を養うとともに、世界の農業問題・食料問題を理解する。
到達目標Goal
国内外の重要な植物病を学ぶことで、修士研究を実施するための有益な実験手法、実験の進め方、実験結果のまとめ方を修得する。

担当者は、被害の大きな1つの植物病の総論や研究論文などの文献調査を行い、病原の特性、診断技術、経済的被害、作物の栽培技術などを総合的に調べる。そして、A4用紙で1〜2枚程度に要点を簡潔に記載したレポートと、パワーポイントを作成して解説する。課題等の提出・フィードバックは「学習支援システム」を通じて行う。

【本授業の準備・復習時間は、各４時間を標準とします。】担当学生が発表予定である学術雑誌を事前に読んでおく。また、 発表後は発表内容と学術雑誌を改めて読み直し、復習する。

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
プレゼン能力、文献解読能力、質疑応答能力で70%、平常点を30%として総合的に判断する。
