Outline (in English)

In this lesson, we learn about Lebesgue integration which is the basis of functional analysis. In addition, we learn about the various functional spaces defined by using it and understand that they have the structure of Hilbert space or Banach space.

(Learning Objectives)
The goals of this course are to understand the followings:
-- Why we need Lebesgue integral.
-- Typical technique of proof for Lebesgue integral.
-- Basic of Lebesgue integral.

(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.

(Grading Criteria)
Grading will be decided based on the term report (100%).
