Outline (in English)

The aim of this lecture is to learn high frequency transistors which have been widely used in microwave or millimeter wave communication systems. The transistor's performances are strongly connected to physical properties of the used semiconductor materials; hence, the semiconductor physic and epitaxial growth are picked up on the lecture. The semiconductor materials targeted in this lecture are mainly compound semiconductors such as GaAs, InP, and GaN.
