Outline (in English)

This course introduces "actively studying the fundamental technology of digital signal transmission (in particular, spectrum calculation, sampling theorem, optimum filter design, error rate calculation, etc.) which is the basis of wireless communication such as cellular phone and large capacity optical communication, and training the ability of applying the fundamental technology to design procedure" to students taking this course.
The goals of this course are to be able to sensuously acquire and apply not only mathematical formulas but also basic technologies for digital signal transmission (spectrum, S / N, etc.).
Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting . Your study time will be more than four hours for a class.
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following Term end examination: 20 %、 Short reports :20% 、and in class contribution: 60%.
