Outline (in English)
In recent years, as the machine becomes larger and faster, it is necessary to design in consideration of the dynamic behavior of the machine. For that, it is important to understand the dynamic behavior. In this lesson, we will mainly focus on continuous system and learn the oscillation phenomena.
【Course outline】 This course provides a basic knowledge of mechanical vibration. Students will be motivated by understanding the mechanical vibration.
【Learning Objectives】 At the end of the course, students are expected to achieve the objectives of the class and to acquire preliminary understanding and knowledge for mechanical vibration.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】 Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend 4 hours to understand the course content.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】 The total score of 60 or more out of 100 is considered acceptable.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
近年，機械の大型化・高速化が進むにつれ，その機械の動的挙動を考慮した設計が必要となっている．そのためには動的挙動つまり振動現象を理解することが重要である．この授業では主に連続体を対象とし，発生する振動現象を学ぶ．
到達目標Goal
1. 連続体の自由振動と強制振動の理論を理解し，運動方程式を立てて解くことができること．
2. 動吸振器理論を理解し，適切なダンパを設計できるようになること．
3．非線形振動について理解し，理論解析，数値計算により現象解明ができるようになること．

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
評価方法：授業中に行う演習とレポート（100％）で評価する．
評価基準：本科目において設定した達成目標を60％以上達成している学生を合格とする．

授業毎に配布する資料をベースとして授業が進められ，その資料に学生がメモしていくことで学生オリジナルの教材が完成する．授業で使用するスライドは学生がメモしやすいように構成されている．
