Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
The main objective of this course is to understand compressible fluid mechanics while comprehensively learning thermodynamics and fluid mechanics for compressible flows where the change in density cannot be ignored.
【Learning Objectives】
After completing this course, students should be able to:
- Understand the various characteristics of vertical shock waves.
- Understand one dimensional wave propagation behavior and shock wave propagation behavior.
- Understand the characteristics of oblique shock waves.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend 4 hours to understand the course content.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Students who achieve a total of 60% or more will pass the course.
