Outline (in English)

Course outline: Psychologists working in the industrial and labor fields are required to have knowledge and skills specific to this field, such as individual psychological support, improving the environment of workplace organizations, and coordinating with related parties. The purpose of this class is to acquire this knowledge, deepen understanding of skills, and cultivate the ability to think, make decisions, and develop a sense of ethics required in practice.
Learning Objectives: The goal of this class is to learn the psychological support needed for workers' mental health, and to develop the skills required in the occupational health field. The objectives are as follows
(1) To be able to give an overview of various problems in the workplace and the psychological support required for them
(2) To be able to explain the laws and regulations of mental health care.
(3) To be able to formulate plans for psychological support for workers
(4) To be able to formulate plans for psychological support for the organization.
Learning activities outside of the classroom: Students need to deepen their understanding of workers' mental health problems and workplace environment through reference literature, newspapers, and interviews with close relatives. The preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
Grading Criteria /Policy: Class participation (60%), exam (40%)
