Outline (in English)

Innovation that occurs in a company is strongly influenced by the environment of each country (National Innovation System) in the company. This is due to the establishment of legal systems, tax systems, intellectual property systems, finance, and support organizations that differ from country to country. In order to bring about innovation in the region, it is necessary to establish appropriate innovation policies at the national and regional levels. In this lecture, we will take up important national and regional innovation policies necessary for regional economic revitalization strategies, and examine their historical background and current issues. Based on this, we will consider the ideal way of regional industrial policy to create regional innovation and the strategic theory for regional economic revitalization.
